Roy McComish Art Award

The Roy McComish Art Award is an annual worldwide art competition in which students are invited to submit artwork in any medium to capture the theme of the Round Square International Conference. The Award is named after the founding Headmaster of Box Hill School, which was itself a founding member of Round Square. You can read more about Roy McComish here.

Subject Matter

For this year’s Roy McComish Art Award, students are asked to submit artwork in any medium to capture the RSIC theme of “The New Africa”. Students of all ages in all Round Square schools are welcome to enter (not just those attending the RSIC).

Prizes and Honours

 

Awards will include 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, as well as a small number of certificates for Highly Commended entries. Judges will look for creativity, skill and interpretation of the theme.
